THANET PETROL PRICES website has no direct contact with most individual Petrol Filling Stations (PFS's). The Petrol Stations are not asked to contact the website of any changes to services they offer nor do they inform the site at the time of any price changes.

Price Checking:
The prices are gathered by checking the Gantry or by viewing the price displayed on the pump.

The Gantry is the Price Display Board outside the Petrol Station.

The Price Pages on the site:
This site should only be used as a guide and if the site differs from reality, then neither the site or PFS takes any responsibility.

If a price can not be displayed correctly on a gantry where the price has risen to over a pound per litre, and only displays for example "104", it will be assumed that the price of fuel is 104.9.

Where information is updated (Prices), the date when seen will be stated next to any price. Any price taken can be from Midnight to 2359hrs on the day stated. No times will be given.

The Petrol Stations:
The site has been made to be non-bias to any individual PFS or associated shop, garage or supermarket. All information has been researched and all photos have been taken to display a petrol station. This site will not recommend a singular, group, brand or type of petrol station.

The PFS list has been made in Alphabetical Order. Where two or more of the same PFS are present, (Murco, Pace, Tesco, Total) The list has been created by Alphabetical Road Names. This list may alter from time to time depending on Petrol Stations re-branding, closures or new openings. For more information about the list, please Email to request "PFS List Arrangement Details".

Petrol Station Individual Information:
Information about Petrol Stations have been gathered by visiting or viewing the Petrol Station from the side of the road or by invitation by the company. No Personal data from each petrol station will be advertised and only the phone number will be shown if found by local directory or advertising.

Canopy Height:
This information has been gathered by the legal warning signs on the canopy roof. Two petrol stations have not got this information on display. It is still recommended that if you are using a high sided vehicle, that you check the height of the canopy before entering a petrol station. This site can only be used as a guide and is not liable for any errors or accidents that may have been caused. You are responsible for the actions of your vehicle.

Some petrol stations do not have a canopy over their HGV area but may be close to one on entrance and exit to a Petrol Station. Please see individual Petrol Stations for more information.

Errors:
THANET PETROL PRICES website takes no responsibility over mistakes and errors of information about other PFS's. Information can be corrected if informed by email.

Articles and Links displayed on THANET PETROL PRICES website will be clearly marked where the source of information is gathered. All news information will be kept for 1 week. Links will be checked on a daily basis and removed if found not to be working. THANET PETROL PRICES takes no responsibility for what other websites advertise or promote.

Producer Personal Disclaimer

The site producer is currently a student at UK IT Training in Surrey and recently been a student at Canterbury Christ Church University Thanet Campus but neither UK IT Training or Canterbury Christ Church University have no involvement with the site in any way.

The information gathered is collected by viewing the Petrol Station's Gantry on a regular basis. The producer however does not view each Petrol Station daily so changes in price may alter and not be updated on the site instantly.

The Gantry is the Price Display Board outside the Petrol Station.

If at any time the producer can not update the site, or a period of time when no information will be uploaded, this will be advertised on the site, and a date as from when the information will be back up and updated. This will happen from time to time but will be kept to a minimum. For any mistakes, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and if informed, the site will be updated as soon as possible.

Due to personal problems that may occur, the site may 'freeze' without notice with no updates, if this happens, then it will be advertised on the main home page of the site when its back up and running.

The producer is able to work in several of Thanet's Petrol Stations, but will not favour those Petrol Stations over any other. All stated are equal and only Petrol Station facts are mentioned. No 'inside' information will be published or the Petrol Station the Producer is able to work in.
